Strengthening the Immune System

At the time of writing, during the present coronavirus outbreak and our first lockdown here in the UK, it is a time that is especially important to strengthen our immune systems, something which is important whether there is an outbreak or not, because if only the national health recommended what I'm recommending here, then a lot more people would have stronger immune systems with which to fight off viruses and therefore there  would be a lot less deaths even in a normal year, because a lot more lives could be saved this way.

Here is one doctor who agrees with me about strengthening our immune systems, so that you can see I'm not just theorising:

Unfortunately the above video was removed from YouTube, but I have shared the transcript on the COVID-19 page
Unfortunately the above video was removed from YouTube, but I have shared the transcript on the COVID-19 page

I'll leave the politics of it all off of this page though, possibly in the future, I'll put it on the COVID-19 page soon for those interested, as this page is solely for improving health. There are two parts to the approach I'm presenting here, the second part of which in this day and age could be seen as revolutionary, because generally doctors only deal with symptoms of illness and not causes, treatment and not prevention, unlike doctors of ancient cultures and a more enlightened age, who would not take wages if their patient got sick, as their job was to prevent illness, hence the old adage "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Incidentally, the phrase "let food be thy medicine" is attributed by some to Hippocrates, the father of Western Medicine, whom a doctor has to swear an oath to in order to be a practising medical doctor in the first place. I won't go into anything about Imhotep being the true father of medicine or anything about scholars from around the world being sent to ancient Egypt to become a scholar in the first place. And incidentally, none of the following is medical advice, since I'm not medically qualified and as a nutritionist can only give nutritional advice, so if you are suffering from any illness, or taking medication, make sure to check with your doctor or a dietician first, before implementing anything you read on this website.

Also I am providing the information here for free but unfortunately not everything in life is free, so if you'd like to make a small donation via PayPal that would be very much appreciated, but is in no way compulsory, I made this site to help people. Also if you do decide to purchase any products listed here or not, it makes no difference to my finances, as the only time I make any money, (apart from if you pay to access one of the private pages I've added since first writing this) is if people are kind enough to make donations, which is hardly ever, in fact it's cost me around £200 getting this information out to people since I first started writing it around a year ago, March 2020, and so far I've had two donations totalling at £18. So not exactly the 20:1 return on investment that Bill Gates sees through his investment in vaccines is it? My point being, if you find this website helpful, please consider making a donation at the bottom of the page if you can afford it,every little helps. Anyway, now that's out of the way...

Let's get started.

The Best Protein Sources

1) If you're going to eat them at all, you should opt for pastured/pasture raised chicken or eggs, because if you eat any other kind, including free-range, which by law apparently only means they had access to an open door leading to outside of the warehouse with terribly cramped conditions that they're all couped up in, for 5 minutes.

The most important reason though is because these chickens, as well as organic chickens, are fed mostly corn and soy, whether GMO or not, which is usually sprayed with a pesticide called Roundup, which can then be found in their meat, milk (as cows are also fed the same food) and eggs.

Compare that to pastured/pasture raised chickens who eat insects, seeds and some grasses.  Chickens are actually insectivores anyway, so they get the most nutritional value from insects,

(although there's no legal definition, so it's best to find out what you can about the farm your chickens are coming from, so hopefully you'll find video evidence of the conditions the chickens are raised in or preferably will be able to inspect a local farm for yourself.)

Roundup is a known carcinogen and endocrine (gland) disruptor which also kills good stomach bacteria, causing gastrointestinal problems and also paralyses liver enzymes that convert vitamin D to a form that your body can use, vitamin D that you also happen to need to repair your intestinal wall, so obviously avoid corn and soya too.
Otherwise you can switch to a better source of protein like hemp seeds, I buy the Shelled ones (no shell) in bulk to save money and I rinse them half hour or so before eating to improve taste and to activate more nutrients.

And viruses can only survive in acidic environments, so a fresh plant based diet will help to protect against and prevent viruses like COVID-19, take a look at the two articles below if you want proof:

'The PH Connection - Colds & Flu':
https://www.naturesfare.com/health/ph-connection-colds-flu/

'Acidic Environment Could Boost Power of Harmful Pathogens':
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/01/200109141017.htm

Eating plant based protein or having a plant based diet in general is known to have an alkalizing effect on the body, even very acidic foods like lemon, as long as it's fresh, in fact lemon has one of the best alkaline effects on the body.
Although I don't recommend consuming lemon on a regular basis, or if at all, since according to Dr Sebi, lemon is another man made hybrid and lime is a better alternative to choose and stick to over lemon.

Red meat, especially the processed kind has been shown to cause bowel cancer, a particularly harsh type of cancer, as well as other health conditions, according to the British Medical journal (the journal for doctors and medical practitioners). Processed meat also has nasty carcinogenic chemicals added to it which would be a good idea to avoid:
https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/causes-of-cancer/diet-and-cancer/does-eating-processed-and-red-meat-cause-cancer

Hemp seeds, at 40g per 100g,  also have more first class protein per gram (meaning containing all 8 essential amino acids) than any type of animal flesh, including turkey, which has the highest at 30g per 100g and steak which has around 25 - 27g per 100g, and they, hemp seeds that is, just happen to also have all of the essential fatty acids (healthy oils/fats) that cod liver oil is famous for (except in the correct ratio that your body needs

and without the toxic heavy metals that cod liver oil has
-

the liver's job is removing toxins from the body, so this is where you'll find the heavy toxic metals that were removed from the sea water,

so hemp seeds are a much healthier choice obviously).

Here's a comparison of prices of hemp seeds:

Wholefood Earth Organic Shelled Hemp Seeds, £50.98 for 3kg:

Bear in mind that 500g of Shelled/Hulled Hemp Seeds by Canah is

£7.99

(that's £15.98 for 1kg [x3 =£47.94]

Or 1kg Organic Shelled Hemp Seeds by Hanf&Natur
for £7.21, so is cheaper still:

You only get much less for your money when buying in smaller amounts, even at Sainsbury's or Holland and Barrett as you can see:.

Linwoods Shelled Hemp Seeds from Holland and Barrett:
200g for £6.49 (increased from £5.49) :

The same brand (above) Linwoods Shelled Hemp Seeds on Amazon:

225g £9.25

I buy a 15kg bag personally to save more money, which lasts me a few months:

This is the cheapest brand (in bulk) of hulled/shelled hemp seeds, which I have found:

https://www.nutsinbulk.co.uk/product/hemp-seeds

I also rinse them about half an hour before eating them, but even 5 minutes would be okay if you're in a rush, but you want more time ideally for the water to drain off obviously.
This makes them a live food then (when you add water to nuts or seeds like that, the seed awakens all the enzymes and nutrients to start growing and producing life, except this way you receive them instead of the plant) and also gets rid of phytates and other inhibitors:
https://www.superfoodevolution.com/soaking-nuts-and-seeds.html

I don't recommend soaking them for so long as in the article though, as any time I've tried to do that they've just gone moldy. We never know though, you might have better luck. Let me know if you do, I'd be very interested to hear about your success.

It as also makes them taste even nicer than they already do and there is no need to cook them, just put them on top of your cooked meal in place of the meat (for example in place of the mince meat in chilli con carne)
hemp seeds are also great source of minerals, as are sesame seeds - another  good healthy choice which has 7 of the 8 essential amino acids..

Hemp Protein Powder

There is a lot of talk these days about "clean" foods, well hemp is one of, if not the, cleanest foods there is, unlike the highly popular whey protein, which is just not healthy at all, in fact it is a waste product from cheese manufacturing, here are two articles about it:

https://www.newfoodmagazine.com/article/157633/whey-protein-transformation-looking-to-solve-waste-in-the-dairy-industry/

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S092422441005124

But when it comes to protein powder for smoothies etc, this is the one I buy:

Here is the hemp protein powder I buy because, unlike all of the others I looked at or tried on Amazon, or other suppliers on the internet, this protein is made from hemps seeds without the shell:

All the others on Amazon or other places on the internet are just ground seeds (with shell) and most of them taste pretty disgusting. Plus obviously you're getting less for your money as they're bulked up with the weight of the shell

This is the only other one I could find that looks like it might be isolated (no shell), like the one I buy, but I haven't tried it yet:

Tahini

Personally I prefer to use about a tablespoon of tahini in my meals (tahini is a paste made from sesame seeds). If you like peanut butter, I'd also recommend replacing peanut butter with tahini, because as exposed by the late great Dr Sebi, peanuts are a man-made hybrid (as are cashews orange carrots and lots of other foods), although tahini is more runny than peanut butter and I've never tried it on bread/toast, partly because I don't eat wheat as that's a hybrid too (I've put more about this on one of my other pages called 'The Lectin-Free Diet') but also because I've only come across Tahini in the last few years and now I can't get enough of it! Unfortunately the cheapest Tahini I've found is in plastic tubs or jars, which you'll see below these ones here which I buy as they are in glass Jars and are slightly cheaper than in the local shop:

(12 PACK) - Meridian - Natural Dark Tahini | 270g | 12 PACK BUNDLE by Ths
£32.97 (that was at the time of writing, but have since gone up to £39.98)

Achva Pure Tahini Sesame Paste | Rich Creamy Taste for Hummus, Tahini Sauce & Dressing | Kosher, Vegan Gluten Free, Peanut Free & Non-GMO (2 Jars of 500g) by Achdut £9.99:

Al Nakhil Tahina Extra Lebanese Sesame Tahini - 907g £5.25:

Baracke 100% Sesame Tahini Paste 1kg (2 x 500g), Roasted & Stone Ground Ethiopian Humera Sesame Seeds, All Natural, Kosher, Hallal, Vegan, Gluten Free £9.99:

Moringa

Hailed as a miracle food, Moringa is another healthy source of complete/first class protein, (all essential amino acids), vitamins and minerals.

Although Moringa is eaten whole as a food in the Philippines, we have it available to us in the West as a supplement in powder or tablet form:

NaturaleBio Organic Moringa Oleifera Leaf Powder [ Premium Quality ] 1kg. 100% Bio, Natural and Pure. Leaves Picked from The Moringa Oleifera Plant. £14.89

FREE Delivery on orders dispatched by Amazon over £20.00

MoriVeda® - 120 Moringa Energy Tabs 950mg or Moringa Capsules 600mg - Oleifera, Vegan, Quality Product (1x120 Tablets) by NP-Vital UK £15.03:

The seeds are also available:
500 Moringa Oleifera Seeds Drumstick Tree Pure Organic 100% by Thai JJ

1.a)  Yeast
I also buy these Nutritional Yeast Flakes for a very good source of B vitamins, and yeast also has more protein per gram than any meat, and even than hemp at 47g per 100g, and includes 18 amino acids, 8 of which are essential, and 15 minerals too. But you wouldn't eat much yeast flakes in one go, only a few table spoons, as a topping, and the same for moringa above, at least not in the powder or tablet form anyway.. But there are also some yeast spreads available. Just beware of the brands that have salt and other chemical additives. These brands are usually the more well known names, like Marmite or Vegemite etc. (Natural salt is actually good for you, it's the adulterated, synthetic common salt, aka table salt which is bad for health and raises blood pressure. Sea salt, although sometimes chemicals are used in its extraction, doesn't have this affect, nor does Himalayan or rock salt. Hence why I avoid common salt at all costs)

Essential Yeast Extract 6 x 250g £41.49

20:50 6 pack (£3.37 each) reduced to £19:38

(Bear in mind that you may be able to buy them cheaper if you have a health shop close to you, although they cost £3.29 for 125g in my local health shop, plus they aren't delivered straight to your door like when you order from Amazon obviously.)

Holland and Barrett Engevita Yeast Flakes 125g for £2.99:
https://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/engevita-yeast-flakes-60024884

Sainsbury's nutritional yeast with B12, £3.50: (only for price comparison, I would avoid this one as the type of B12 is the synthetic cyanocobalamin (the natural type of B12 is calledmethylcobalamin)
https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/new-355373-44/marigold-engevita-with-b12-yeast-flakes-blue-125g

What I do is sprinkle them over my mashed yam, sweet potato or plantain (which are all gluten-free alternatives to wheat) and then pour olive oil over them, or alternatively pink (Himalayan) salt and cider vinegar, because you wouldn't want to eat them dry

The Amazing Nutritional Yeast Benefits:

Good verses Bad Bacteria

As well as making sure to eat enough raw fruit and vegetables because they contain "resistant starch", which is fermented in the large intestine by the bacteria there and helps improve overall bacterial balance, it is also important to avoid foods that contain added sugar, as sugar feeds any bad bacteria and fungi in the gut. As for artificial sweeteners, these contain chlorine molecules which kill good bacteria in the gut, just like antibiotics do, whether taken directly, or indirectly from any meat you eat (see my post on natural antibiotics for alternatives and also my post about protein), as do pesticides and other chemicals found in most "fresh" food and in household cleaning and beauty products (see the many alternatives on this site). Pasteurizing, which makes foods last longer, is perfect for supermarkets who stock mass produced foods for maximum profit, but not good for our gut bacteria once again, as it also kills many of the good bacteria normally found in yogurt or kefir. So if you want to consume the real stuff you'll have to find an organic dairy somewhere. So only consuming 100% organic food (including pasture raised animals if you eat meat), would be a good way to go if you can afford it, but some pesticides get around the regulations, so it's not fullproof, and even if we also eat fermented foods, which help to increase good gut bacteria, we'd have to eat tons to get enough. So we'll probably want to take probiotic supplements, but so far the only one I've seen with the full spectrum of good bacteria, without added chemicals, is based in America, so the p & p is extortionate. But I'm still looking, so watch this space, I'll post them here when I find any good ones, send me an email if you've found any without all the chemical additives already though. But here is a list of probiotics/good bacteria and their benefits:

Probiotics - The Good Bacteria

I have summarised as much as possible from the following article about good bacteria, which seems to indicate that not only are good bacteria essential for a healthy immune system and protection against disease, but also for mental health
(see depression section further down too):

https://gutsify.com/types-of-probiotics/

More than 500 species of bacteria live in your gut. They facilitate digestion, provide nutrients and help to form your immune system. About 10% of your daily energy needs may be derived from good gut bacteria byproducts...

Different strains of probiotics have different health benefits. Here's a roundup of the most well-known probiotic strains and their locations:

Lactobacillus Species

These are the most important group of bacteria in your small intestine. They produce lactase, which breaks down sugar in milk and ferments the carbs you take to produce lactic acid.

Lactobacillus acidophilus - L. acidophilus

It congregates densely in your intestine and helps to maintain intestinal wall integrity.

L. rhamnosus

This strain of probiotics can survive passing through the entire GI tract. It helps decrease irritation of the vaginal area. It's also helpful with weight loss.

L. casei - Lactobacillus casei

Its benefits, other than helping relieve diarrhea in children, include increasing immunity to disease, improving digestion, improving cholesterol levels, and reducing allergies.

L. Plantarum produces hydrogen peroxide. Your body can use this to defend itself from bacteria found in food and against other harmful microorganisms.

L. gasseri is linked primarily to microflora that grows in the vaginal area, women with normal vaginal health have higher levels of this probiotic in their systems.

L. salivarius

This probiotic strain is found naturally in your throat, sinuses, and mouth, as well as in the vagina and intestines. It grows most easily within the confines of the small intestine.

L. paracasei

This probiotic is naturally found in your small intestine, but if you take it along with milk protein to increase its resistance to stomach acids, it can colonize in the colon as well.

L. paracasei helps in supporting proper liver function in the body and lowers urine pH in half of subjects tested. This probiotic also helps in fighting fatigue and can be effective for relieving symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome.

L. reuteri

This colonizes the mouth and the intestine. It has been shown in human trials to be supportive of immune, digestive and oral health. As an anti-inflammatory, it helps your gut health by increasing the availability of vitamin D, as it lowers cholesterol and fights the growth of candida.

L. brevis gives your digestion system valuable anti-inflammatory benefits.

L. helveticus supports the immune system's response and displaces bad bacteria as it colonizes the intestines. As it does so, it improves good (HDL) cholesterol and supports the digestive tract.

L. fermentum

This strain of probiotics is found in kimchi and sourdough. It produces antioxidants that help neutralize the toxic products formed in the intestinal tract when digesting food. It can also exhibit activity that fights food-borne pathogens.

This probiotic enhances the work done by antioxidant enzymes...

Bifidobacterium Species

Billions (literally) of Bifidobacterium can be found lining the large intestine walls, helping to ward off many harmful, invasive microorganisms and bacteria like yeast. These bacteria produce helpful lactic acid, which provides nearly 70% of the energy your cells need to line the walls of the intestine. This enhances your body's natural barrier of protection in the digestive tract.

Lactic acid is also helpful in keeping the large intestine's pH acidic, which discourages bad bacteria growth. An environment lower in pH also facilitates your body's ability to absorb beneficial minerals, including iron, zinc, magnesium, copper, and calcium.

B. bifidum is among the main good flora in your large intestine. It helps promote bacterial balance and prevents the growth of "bad" bacteria, yeasts, and molds. It does this by adhering naturally to the mucosa in the intestines.

This probiotic helps your body to break down protein, complex carbohydrates, and fat. It produces beneficial enzymes.

B. longum is a common strain of probiotics in the gastrointestinal tract. It scavenges and neutralizes toxins in the intestines and breaks down carbohydrates.

B. infantis

This strain of probiotics is the single largest beneficial bacteria population in babies. The amount in your gut will decline as you age, but it still will remain a vital part of your microflora and has been proven in a study to decrease the difficulty of bowel movements and associated bloating.

If you keep your Bifidobacterium infantis levels balanced, you will experience less discomfort after eating and have an active metabolism and better health and overall digestion.

It promotes regularity

IBS relief

B. lactis

This helpful probiotic is quite powerful. It fights the growth of tumors. It also enhances your immunity, helps in lowering cholesterol, and improves your digestion.

B. lactis inhabits the colon and intestines in impressive numbers. It breaks down waste in the body and aids your body in absorbing important vitamins & minerals. It improves the comfort of general digestion, decreases lactose intolerance, decreases the permeability of the intestine, normalizes bowel movements, decreases constipation and IBS symptoms, and treats acute diarrhea, helps your oral health. It decreases the bacteria in the mouth that cause cavities. It also reduces the severity and frequency of respiratory problems and increases immunity among geriatric patients, inhibits the growth of H. pylori, which can cause ulcers, reduces instances of the flu and colds, reduces inflammation and allergies, and decreases dermatitis sensitivity and symptoms. In patients with diabetes, this probiotic increases the control of blood glucose levels. It improves cholesterol levels by increasing good (HDL) cholesterol and decreasing overall cholesterol, overall digestion, immunity and anti-inflammatory benefits, nutrient absorption and waste elimination, and;

Lactose intolerance

Oral health

Ulcer prevention

Skin conditions

IBS relief

Bacillus Species

These produce lactic acid, work in the stomach and colonize in your small intestine, they remain in the body for longer time periods than many other bacteria.

B. coagulans

B. coagulans produces enzymes that help digest lactose, improves your body's ability to properly utilize iron, calcium, and phosphorus and stimulates gastric motility and juices.

This probiotic supports women's vaginal health and 91% of patients found relief from their vaginal discomfort through the daily use of this probiotic.

It can help in fighting off invasive pathogens and viruses. It usually resides in your digestive tract and can decrease IBS symptoms, including bloating and abdominal pain. It is also used to offer relief from the effects of occasional constipation.

B. clausii

This probiotic strain lives naturally in soil. However, it has been studied for use in easing respiratory infections in children. It also has shown promise in fighting the effects of gastrointestinal disorders, produces substances shown to act effectively against some harmful bacteria, including Clostridium difficile, Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterococcus faecium, so it has effective immunomodulatory and antimicrobial activities and is effective against the invasion of negative bacteria like Caco-2 cells and Vero cells.

Streptococcus Species

Streptococcus species have more strains than disease-causing bad bacteria. They are lactic acid bacteria and ferment glucose into lactic acid.

Streptococcus probiotics are found in your mucus membranes and even on your skin. They also relocate to tissues deeper in the body. These strains prove themselves helpful in warding off disease and fighting disease once it has breached your body's defenses.

Bacillus

Bacillus includes parasitic and non-parasitic species. In addition to the few types in the human body, many bacillus bacteria grow in soil and are used as pesticides and growth additives for plants.

S. thermophilus

S. thermophilus is found naturally in the colon, where its immunity and digestive benefits are most often seen.

This probiotic produces lactase, helping people to digest milk more efficiently. It is useful in its production of antibiotic chemicals that prevent infections like pneumonia and helps in the prevention of ulcers.

It's best for:

Reducing diarrhea associated with antibiotics

Prevention of ulcerative colitis

Decreasing symptoms of IBS

Increasing HDL (good) cholesterol

Reducing atopic dermatitis symptoms

Increasing anti-tumor activity

Decreasing colic in babies

S. salivarius M18

This probiotic is found mainly in oral mucosa and it produces bacteriocin-like inhibitory substances (BLIS). It is especially active in specific areas of your teeth and gums. It promotes a healthy inflammatory response there because its bacteriocins target Streptococcus mutans and the enzymes urease and dextranase, which otherwise promote the accumulation of dental plaque, so oral plaque scores are much lower in the groups given M18.

S. salivarius K12

This probiotic strain is found mainly in the oral cavity's mucus membranes. It produces BLIS, similar to the effects of the previous one, S. salivarius M18, and inhibits the ability of other undesirable bacteria to grow.

In research, it was discovered that about 10% of the population carry BLIS-producing oral bacteria strains naturally, and they have fewer incidences of sore throat than the rest of the population, it also offers children better ear health, increases the levels of interferon-gamma (which signals a positive immune response) and a reduction in sulfur compounds that can otherwise cause bad breath.

Probiotic Products

These are the best probiotic sources, available in the UK, that i've found. Meaning that they not only have a broad range of friendly bacteria, but also have either no or a very low amount of additives, some only have additives in the contents of the capsule, but take a look at the comparison of bacteria for each. I have also done a comparison chart for you to download further down..

Mucus Forming Foods:

Another thing to understand is that certain foods, like dairy products, cause the body to go into an immune response whIch is to produce more mucus, which sort of acts like a buffer between itself and invading substances which it knows causes harm. So it does that to protect itself, the only problem is this immune response is only meant to be temporary, but people keep eating the offending substance, like cheese - cow's cheese/milk was designed for baby cows remember - and this puts them in a constant defensive, mucus forming state, which I'm sure you can imagine, is very taxing for the body. Not only that but the mucus has the tendency of attracting colds and other viruses. Read about mucus forming foods here:
https://www.onegreenplanet.org/natural-health/natural-foods-that-help-cleanse-the-body-of-mucus/

Vitamin A

Another immune system booster is vitamin A, which is also needed in adequate amounts for good eye sight and protects against infections and cancer, that's why you should have listened to grandma when she told you to eat your greens which are a good source of this.

The RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance)  is 900 mcg USA, 700 mcg UK, for adult males, or 700 mcg USA, 600 UK, for women. Which is easily achieved by a few daily servings of yellow/orange fruits and vegetables and/or dark leafy greens which contain Vitamin A, retinol, beta-carotene or carotenoids Retinol. beta-carotene and carotenoids convert into vitamin A.
Here are some healthy sources of Vitamin A, retinol and/or carotenoids, and fibre:

Depression

(A quick reminder that nothing on this site is medical advice, but I can assist in your healing as I do offer nutritional advice, see my 'Nutrition' page, which I talk about more further down on this section.

If you suffer from any medical conditions though, you'll need to consult your doctor before I can assist in your healing. Also make sure to read previous and later sections on probiotics, vitamin D and teflon, in conjunction with the following few sections, which all address depression)

One major cause of depression is a lack of B-vitamins. B-vitamins are also used when digesting any type of grains, for instance rice, pasta, barley etc. Whole grains contain B-vitamins, whereas the refined "white" versions don't, so eating refined grains depletes you of B-vitamins, as does drinking alcohol especially if you're not eating foods that replete B-vitamins. So nutritional yeast flakes would be the perfect thing to sprinkle on your white rice for example, whether combating depression or just a hangover, or both. I mean you could just switch to eating whole grains, but I wouldn't recommend it because whole grains are full of lectins, have a look at my lectin page.

Here are a few gluten-free whole food alternatives to wheat or other refined products like white rice, or products containing lectins like wholegrain rice (see my 'Lectin-Free Diet' page for more on this).  Even some brown rice products are just white rice coloured brown! (Depression section continued further down, past the following products)

Buckwheat Hulled (Unroasted)

Buckwheat a nutrient-packed, gluten-free seed abundantly consumed in Asian countries for centuries – is now becoming increasingly popular in the U.S., Canada and Europe due to its many health benefits.

2) Vitamin D:

All of the following listed compounds lower your liver's ability to convert vitamin D to its active form (this impedes the generation of new bone, which helps the development of osteoporosis, and also increases the risk of prostate cancer in men):
BHT found in any processed foods containing whole grains, including bread and breakfast cereals, whole grain flour;
BPA/BPS in water bottles, food packaging, toothbrushes (and even in babies' teething rings), the plastic lining of most tinned foods;
Parabens, found in cosmetics (make up and shampoo etc. sometimes including methylparaben which is mostly added to pharmaceutical drugs) and sunscreens;
tBHQ, another preservative added to bread, waffles, crackers, Chicken McNuggets and other baked foods, and also to nuts and cooking oil, (even though it's not required to be listed on the ingredients and can stimulate allergic reactions);
Triclosan (which destroys good bacteria in your mouth, gut and on your skin and causes bladder cancer and increases precancerous cells) is found in hand sanitizers, soaps, deodorants, toothpaste and countless other personal care products...
So it is best to find alternatives to these items listed.
If you are having trouble finding alternatives or would like suggestions for particular products feel free to ask.

Sunlight Is Not Enough

Between 40% and 75% of the world population is deficient in vitamin D, whether you live in Australia, Affica, Korea or any other country around the world.
The Institute of Medicine in America conclude from studies that you need
30ng/ml of vitamin D blood levels to have sufficient levels, this blood level is reached by, or is equivalent to taking 3000 IUs per day.
Dr Michael F. Holick at Boston University Medical Center, who regularly treats patients with vitamin D deficiency, recommends 6500 IUs per day for 8 weeks to treat deficiency (if suffering from deficiency diseases like osteomalacia etc)
And then, to prevent recurrence (to maintain sufficient vitamin D levels) he recommends just over 3500 IUs per day. (Vitamin D also happens to be very important for you immune system, so is obviously very important in current times.)
Bearing in mind that vitamin D is fat soluble which means that obesity also causes vitamin D deficiency, so the higher your BMI the more vitamin D you'll need, and the most prominent sign of a vitamin D deficiency is lower back pain. .

And there's no need to worry about toxicity because there's no toxicity below 100,000 IUs a day and only if taken for many months or years. And even then, the first thing to happen when you reach toxicity is that you'll have hypercalcemia (meaning excess calcium in the blood, which can lead to kidney stones and interfere with heart and brain function), and just drinking around 2.5 litres of water a day will dilute the calcium in your blood if that happens.
This is the Vitamin D I chose because it has no chemical additives, it only has vitamin D:

Zen Naturals - Green Sun - Vegan Vitamin D3 Drops, High Strength, Vitamin D 500IU, Liquid Vitamin D Baby Kids, Adults.
One pump press contains 500IU, 2 pump presses contain 1000IU of vitamin D

Price: £12.97 (£432.33 / l)

Here is another alternative, although it is not Vegan, only vegetarian, it still has no chemical additives, it only has brown rice flour:

Focus Vitamin D, £9.99 180 4000 IU Capsules

Alfalfa is a great source of vitamin D3. The following supplement is made from alfalfa and is my option of choice. I was taking 2 capsules per day for around a year. But when I was without any for 2 days, during the bleak winter of 2022, I suffered very bad illness, due to vitamin D being very important for muscle function, including a muscle in the stomach which is a valve. This valve stops hydrochloric acid (HCL) going up up the eosophagus and causing GERDS, aka acid reflux. So, since these capsules are only 1000IUs each, compared to mainstream sources I've seen which are 3000IUs per dose, I now take at least 2 per occasion, at least twice a day.

Vitamin D and Depression

Since we're on the subject of Vitamin D, I thought I'd better come back to the subject of depression.
As well as the fact that the average person loses between 50 and 100 hairs from their head every day, but if you have insufficient vitamin D, you can lose way more.

Vitamin D can also help with depression, (as can consumption of the essential fatty acids omega 3 & 6 symptoms of which can include lack of appetite, fatigue and sometimes even pain.

According to Psychology Today, Vitamin D is the only vitamin that is also a hormone. Once ingested and/or absorbed through the skin, vitamin D releases neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin that have a strong impact on how the brain works.

This is why it's important to spend at least 10 - 15 minutes in direct sunlight every other day. In hotter countries, that should be roughly before 9am or after 3pm, as that is when the sun is at its highest and therefore hottest.

Full Spectrum Lighting

In colder countries, particularly those with longer winters, or if your situation means you are spending most of your days indoors, it is very useful to use full spectrum lighting, because windows block out the ultraviolet light needed for our endocrine systems (which controls hormones) to function properly.

Ýou can find full spectrum bulbs here:

Wearing glasses, even sunglasses, also blocks the ultraviolet light, which may be impairing your eyesight further. It is also important to take [additive free] vitamin D in supplement form. It is obviously important to consult your doctor for medical advice, as i am not qualified to give that, and if you are suffering from any illness or are taking medication, taking supplements could affect you differently; especially if there are additives in those supplements.

A word about alcohol and a toxic protein called homocysteine, whose presence in the blood, not only precedes cardiovascular disease, but also depression, Alzheimer's disease, miscarriage and risk of birth defects. Well alcohol depletes the body of all B vitamins It is vitamin B2, B6 and B12, along with zinc and magnesium, when present in the body in adequate amounts and in combination, which lower the presence of homocysteine.

Then we have the fact that most meat today, has received hormone treatment of some kind, particularly in America, to increase growth rates and increase milk. Another reason to avoid milk and meat or to only eat pastured/pasture raised meat. Then there's the salmon farms. Anyway, these hormones are passed on to anyone who eats the animal or drinks irmts milk and can lead to breast, ovarian, cervical, prostate and testicular cancer and endometriosis. As well as "male menopause", symptoms of which are fatigue, depression, loss of libido, testicular atrophy, impotence, and breast enlargement. Then there's the antibiotics that meat, fish and eggs are pumped with, which not only kill bad bacteria, but good bacteria too which are needed for a healthy body.

More On B Vitamins and Depression

Without enough B vitamins, namely B3, B6, B12 and folic o (which is found mostly in leafy greens - its name comes from foliage), your brain's neurotransmitters, especially dopamine, adrenaline, noradrenaline and serotonin, will be adversely affected. And the brain could also produce chemicals which can literally make you feel crazy. B vitamins help control the methylation process, which is to do with those neurotransmitters, so symptoms of deficiency include anxiety and inner tension, inability to think straight, being suspicious of people, extra pain tolerance, seeing or hearing things, having delusions or illusions, loose bowels, skin problems timed with mental health problems, tendency to gain weight, frequent mood swings and even difficulty having orgasms. If you have 5 or more of those symptoms it's a good idea to increase your intake of B3 and B6 to around 100mg, B12 to 100mcg and folic acid to 1000mcg. (Also see my previous section on this page about nutritional yeast flakes). It may take up to two months before you relieve your symptoms.

Grains and Depression

Refined carbohydrates and sugar can also have mood-altering effects on some people. This is because they affect serotonin and endorphin production, increase blood sugar and stress the adrenal glands. Wheat, rye, oats and barley contain gluten, which also not only affects neurotransmitter production and thyroid function, but also damages our villi and therefore reduces our absorption of nutrients. Gluten also lowers serotonin levels in people with intolerance to it and therefore contributes to depression. Casein, found in dairy products and lactose found in milk, can have similar effects. The phytates found in unfermented soya products can also inhibit thyroid function because they block the uptake of iodine.

The Thyroid Gland and Depression

If your mind and body feel sluggish most of the time, you could have hypothyroidism, which means an underactive thyroid, and of course the thyroid is another gland and part of the endocrine system. Blood tests can detect if your thyroid is clinically underactive, but if you have subclinical hypothyroidism, they are often unable to detect it, so it'll be better to go by the symptoms.

The symptoms, of which 5 or more likely equals an underactive thyroid, (in which case you should ask your doctor to check your thyroid function or see a dietician)

are: physical or mental fatigue/lethargy, depression or irritability, dry skin and/or hair, intolerance to cold or cold hands and feet, constipation, gas, bloating or indigestion, weight gain, painful menstrual cycle, muscle pain, poor memory, sore throat or nasal congestion.

Chronic stress produces cortisol, which in turn inhibits thyroid function.

On the other hand, an overactive thyroid affects metabolism and can lead to being over weight, overactivity and even mania.

Iodine is important in thyroid health, as is zinc, selenium and tyrosine, an amino acid. Speaking of iodine:

Iodine

Iodine is also important for a strong immune system.
A deficiency of iodine can even lead to miscarriage in extreme cases. Iodine deficiency in the body can also lead to goiter or thyroid enlargement. It leads to the enlargement of the thyroid due to the overstimulation of the thyroid glands by the thyroid hormones. Severe iodine deficiency in pregnant women can lead to cretinism, failure of the thyroid gland, stunted physical growth, deafness and spasticity in the child. These conditions can be treated with iodine supplements if diagnosed in the initial stages.
Iodine is required for the development of the skeletal and nervous systems.
Iodine also plays a major role in preventing fibrocystic breast diseases
Symptoms of Iodine Deficiency include:
Goiter, (enlarged thyroid gland)
Fatigue
Weight gain
Weakness
High cholesterol
Depression
Rapid heart beat
Appetite fluctuations
The body cannot store much iodine, so you need to eat a little bit of it every day. Although, excess iodine supplementation can cause burning in the mouth, weak pulse, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting and even coma in extreme cases. Excess consumption of iodine can also inhibit the synthesis of thyroid hormones, leading to hyperthyroidism, thyroid papillary cancer and iodermia.

Iodine is in most seafood, including chlorella (see previous section), fish, and is in dairy products too including eggs.
Kombu kelp is by far the most abundant source, although, it's also found in Pineapples, Strawberries, dried prunes and Himalayan Pink Salt which contains 150% of RDA of iodine in half a gram.
Kombu Kelp
https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/iodine-rich-foods#TOC_TITLE_HDR_2
kombu kelp contains, by far, the highest amount of iodine, even compared to other species of seaweed.
Kombu kelp can contain up to 2,984 mcg of iodine per seaweed sheet (1 gram). This provides almost 2,000% of the recommended daily intake.

Mindset Is Important - Depressed Or Not

On top of nutrition, our minds also influence our bodies. in fact any idea, plan or purpose that has been planted in our subconscious, by years of repetition and conditioning, first in childhood and then, once formed into habit, by our thoughts in everyday life. What I mean here is, that our subconscious programming determines how we think, and our mind thinks in pictures. Unfortunately, most people haven't learned to control these pictures which our thoughts are a by-product of, and so they are just playing old movies and pictures from past memories, which dictate our perception of the world and how we think and feel.

For instance, the moment you start focusing on relaxing thought images, like a sun setting on the horizon over the sea, or beach, or visualise positive outcomes to situations in your life, your body will become relaxed. Whereas, if you start focusing on worrisome, fearful images, your body will become rigid and tense.

In fact, try this as an exercise, imagine you are waist deep in the ocean watching the sunset, or that you are on your bed which is completely covered in £50 notes and tell me either one or both don't bring a smile to your face. Well, here's the thing about the subconscious, it is this part of our mind, which determines which actions we take, everything we do in life is determined by what we first imagine or see ourselves doing in our mind's eye, and repeated enough, becomes a program we follow to develop a physical habit. So it is therefore important that we take back control of our subconscious mind, by consciously choosing the images we focus on, rather than letting our past experiences, which are images held in our mind as memories, dictate what we focus on. In other words, we need to consciously and repeatedly, picture what we want in our life. We need to repeatedly imagine our goals, the outcomes and objects we want in our life. Because it is an absolute law of nature that we will only have something physically if we first see it mentally. The current unique circumstances that you find yourself in are a product of the unique images, from memory or repetitive conscious effort, that your subconscious plays over and over in your mind. Remember, the subconscious is like an iceberg, only around 10% or so is visible, the rest is below the surface. So whether you agree, or whether you think that you don't have images playing through your mind, they are definitely there, below the surface. Just like we don't control what we dream about, unless you have mastered lucid dreaming of course. So it's better to be in control by deciding what images you want to plant in your mind. Jack Nicklaus, the famous golfer wouldn't even pick up a golf club until he has already visualised exactly how the ball would fly through the air, where it would land, bounce and roll to, after he has hit it. This he called "going to the movies". So visualise your life as you want it. Having the amount of money you need for the house you want to live in, the car you'll drive, the countries you'll travel to, with the people you want around you, how you want your body to look, whatever it is, and your mind will do the rest in figuring out how to make it reality. This of course includes the hard work you'll need to do and the steps you'll need to take, to make it reality. But if you don't first work out your destination, how can you work out the route you need to take to get there?

Anger and Depression

It is said that depression is unexpressed anger. This makes sense to me, because in society, we are constantly taught that anger is bad, so you could say that we have a tendency to suppress it. I also have to now ask, is there a difference between the feelings of depression, suppression and oppression? Just to give you something to think about. But my point is that anger is neither good nor bad, it is the way we use it which can be either good or bad. If we choose to use it to harm or intimidate another, or ourselves, by suppressing it (this is how it causes depression) then it is bad, but if we choose to use it to motivate ourselves, in order to get things done, it can be good and can be a positive driving force. For instance, if our roof has a leak and our landlord or housing association keeps fobbing us off and not getting the work done, we could get angry at them and shout and swear etc, but that would not only be a bad way of expressing our anger, but it would just probably make them angry too, or to at least feel disrespected and would probably only make them stall even more. If we used the anger instead, to motivate us to seek help from an outside organisation that could help compel the landlord or housing association to act in order to not have consequences to deal with, from their inaction, on the other hand, then that is a good way of using anger. Expressing our emotions is also important. Take a look at the communication section of my main website, https://EmpowerYourLife.dev, for more on this.

Social Intelligence

Social Intelligence (SI) is the ability to successfully build relationships and navigate social environments.

Our society puts a huge emphasis on book smarts and IQ, but our relationships effect a much bigger part of our lives.

Strong relationships improve our immune system and help combat disease.

Loneliness and weak relationships are one of the major sources of stress, health problems and depression.

Our relationships affect every area of our lives–from colleagues to spouses to friends to kids.

Antibiotics

Another thing that kills good gut bacteria are synthetic/chemical/pharmaceutical/unnatural antibiotics, which is why I don't use them as there are much better alternatives, one of which is oregano oil. So if at any time I find myself in the situation where a doctor has recommended antibiotics, I'll just follow the frequency he recommends, but I'll just apply it to the oregano Oil instead, since all I have to do is put one drop in a medium sized glass of water and take a sip of that once it has mixed, (because it has a tendency to give a slight burning sensation to your tongue and lips otherwise), at the recommended frequency:

3.a) Vitamin C:

Dr Linus Pauling recommended our vitamin C consumption should be on par with what other animals produce by themselves, typically 10-12 grams (10,000 - 12,000 mg) a day:
https://www2.lbl.gov/Science-Articles/Archive/pauling-and-vitamin-c.html
Dr Gundry recommends getting timed/sustained release Vitamin C, or to take 500 - 1000g 4x per day, along with 30mg of zinc per day, as we can't absorb enough Vitamin C and keep it in our bloodstream.Vitamin C is also an important vitamin we need for our immune systems, but it is also important that we get this from a natural rather than a synthetic source.

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/08/110823180459.htm

About 8.7 million (give or take 1.3 million) is the new, estimated total number of species on Earth -- the most precise calculation ever offered -- with 6.5 million species on land and 2.2 million in oceans. Announced by the Census of Marine Life, the figure is based on a new analytical technique. The number of species on Earth had been estimated previously at 3 million to 100 million animals.
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/03/080320120726.htm

Unlike the more than 4,000 other species of mammals who manufacture vitamin C, and lots of it, the red blood cells of the handful of vitamin C-defective species (including humans along with other higher primates, guinea pigs and fruit bats), are specially equipped to suck up the vitamin's oxidized form, so-called L-dehydroascorbic acid (DHA)...

Meanwhile, the red cells of other mammals apparently take up very little, if any, DHA, which might explain why they need to produce so much more vitamin C than we need to get from our diets... The recommended daily dose of vitamin C for humans is just one mg/kg, while goats, for example, produce the vitamin at a striking rate of 200 mg/kg each day. (even though this figure was set during WWII rationing, so is the bare minimum, not the optimal amount)

https://www.hammernutrition.com/knowledge/endurance-library/humans-lack-the-ability-to-make-vitamin-c

A human birth defect exists in 100% of the population due to a defective gene in the human gene pool.

The absence of the enzyme l-gulonolactone oxidase from the liver in humans, blocks the final phase for converting glucose to vitamin C.

This is why we, unlike most other animals, except the ape family and guinea pigs, don't produce ascorbic acid in the liver from glucose, which they produce in relatively higher amounts than we receive from today's modern diets.

For this very reason, Linus Pauling suggested the human body needs somewhere between 2,000 and 18,000 mg. of vitamin C daily. These amounts seem a little high, given the basic food values of vitamin C extracted from food seldom exceeds 140 mg per food item, or a total of only 250 mg vitamin C per meal. More conservative alternative medicine scientists suggest less, 600 to 1,200 mg.

It is essential for the formation of collagen and intercellular material, bone and teeth and for the healing of wounds. It helps maintain elasticity of the skin, aids the absorption of iron and improves resistance to infection. It is used in the treatment of scurvy and may prevent the occurrence and development of cancer.

It is suggested that vitamin C supplements be taken in four-hour intervals rather than once a day. Time-released ascorbic acid with its fat-soluble palmitate derivative provide an alternative to the divided dose protocol. Vitamin C is used up even more rapidly during emotional stress, alcohol, or smoking.

Other situations reduce absorption or increase depletion of vitamin C include fever, viral illness, antibiotics, cortisone, aspirin, pain medicines, environmental toxins such as DDT, petroleum products, carbon monoxide, exposure to heavy metals such as lead, mercury or cadmium. Sulfa antibiotics increase elimination of vitamin C from the body by two to three times the normal rate. Many factors increase the demand for ascorbic acid, and unless these are appreciated, calculated and dosed, they may result in depleted levels.

RDA dose amounts in the Journal of the American Medical Association publication, suggested, "At 100 milligrams all the tissues are saturated, at 200 milligrams, the blood plasma is saturated, but at 500 milligrams dose, then absorption levels appear complete, and rate of absorption begins to decrease."

"Efficient absorption of vitamin C is optimal in ranges of up to 500 mg. per single dose.

Although we are told that around 200 to 500 mg divided into two doses, 200 mg a day is the maximum human cells can absorb, making anything above that level a waste.

it requires several thousand milligrams of vitamin C to prevent heart attack.

Dr. Sydney Bush's research proved that taking 6,000 mg of C daily reversed atherosclerosis in arteries.

High doses of vitamin C and Lysine, an amino acid, strengthens and

opens arteries, making them less likely to rupture, causing stroke. So as you can appreciate, it is actually more beneficial to take these higher doses, especially if you are a smoker, stressed, and or a combination of the previously mentioned depletion factors.

This is the Vitamin C I chose:

Most vitamin c supplements you find in high street shops and chemists are not a natural source but are made from ascorbic acid which is synthetically produced by mixing corn starch and sulphuric acid, neither of which have any vitamin C in them and vitamin C actually has 4 components to it, of which ascorbic acid is only one, so the ascorbic acid type of vitamin C tablets will actually make you vitamin C deficient if that's your only source of "vitamin C", and consuming ascorbic acid could even lead to cancer:
https://northcoast.organic/beware-ascorbic-acid-synthetic-vitamin-c/
which explains why a natural source of Vitamin C is best, but to get sufficient amounts of Vitamin C from fruit and vegetables alone, you'd have to eat a a lot more than most people could feasibly or physically do.

4) A few additives to avoid in vitamin tablets and supplements and why:

Magnesium Stearate:
This chalk-like additive comes from the hydrogenation of cottonseed oil (linked to an increased risk of developing heart disease. Additionally, cottonseed has the highest levels of pesticides out of all other commercial oils.) canola oil (associated with an increased risk for cardiovascular disease and plasma lipid levels, and a reduction in antioxidant status and estimates say as high as 90% of all canola oil is undergoing genetic engineering.) or palm oil (includes 50% saturated fats and has been linked to an increase in LDL, the bad cholesterol. Outside of the posed health problems, palm oil production has played a massive role in global deforestation and the loss of global biodiversity.) Each of these highly processed oils has been singled out as a risky food additive. When vitamin tablets are made, manufacturers use magnesium stearate as a lubricant to prevent the nutrient particles from sticking to the equipment when the powders are compacted into solid tablet form.Researchers in Japan also found that this additive was a formaldehyde-causing agent.

Sodium Benzoate:
Although this prevents the growth of bacteria and other microbes and is used to make vitamin tablets smooth and transparent, allowing for rapid breakdown once swallowed, when sodium benzoate reacts with Vitamin C, it can convert to benzene, a known carcinogen and increases risk of cellular damage and DNA mutation.

Titanium Dioxide:
Is linked directly to kidney damage as the result of altered gene expression, inflammation, and increased oxidative stress and is associated with pronounced inflammation of the small intestine where the majority of vitamin and mineral absorption occurs and so limits the effectiveness of supplements.

Sodium Selenite and Selenite:
Are toxic, inorganic chemical sources of selenium.

Dicalcium Phosphate:
According to both the evidence gathered by the National Library of Medication, National Institutes of Health, and Pharmacy Health, ingestion of dicalcium phosphate could increase the severity of symptoms in people who are already experiencing problems with diarrhea, parathyroid disease, lung disease, kidney stones or other stomach related problems, and at high levels could upset the gastrointestinal system. Symptoms of gastrointestinal problems caused by dicalcium phosphate include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, stomach pain, thirst, dry mouth and increased urination.
Also, because the nutrients in mass produced supermarket pills are artificially made and not from natural food, there's no guarantee that the body recognises them or is able to use them.

About the Ingredients:

https://www.4-legger.com/blogs/fetch-the-dog-blog/80133062-what-does-saponification-mean
The alkali that are used to mix with oil when making soap have changed a lot in the last 300 years. Modern day alkali are naturally occurring sodium hydroxide, which creates a bar soap or naturally occurring potassium hydroxide which creates a soft or liquid soap. The chemical reaction continues long enough to verify that all of the alkali is used (zero left in the batch) and then the glycerin is added back into the base and...voila! The purest, most natural product that you can find.
The Meaning of Saponified

Literally, saponification means "soap-making" and oils are chosen based on what the final properties of soap is desired. For instance, if you saponify coconut oil, the result is a very bubbly and glycerin-rich soap. Glycerin is an important product for its usefulness in helping retain moisture and prevent dry, itchy skin. Olive oil creates a very creamy soap that is rich with antioxidants.

Lye
A lye is a metal hydroxide traditionally obtained by leaching wood ashes, or a strong alkali which is highly soluble in water producing caustic basic solutions. "Lye" most commonly refers to sodium hydroxide, but historically has been used for potassium hydroxide.)

Mouth Wash

The chemicals in mouth washes also kill good mouth bacteria which stabilise blood pressure, so if you're on blood pressure medication, you might find your blood pressure improve once you stop using mouth wash. Tea tree oil is a much better alternative to synthetic mouth washes, and is relatively cheap since all you have to do is put a couple of drops in a glass of water and then rinse with it like you normally would with a mouthwash and it leaves your mouth feeling just as fresh and even without the synthetic taste, which is why I prefer it.  Here are some tea tree oil bottles available from Amazon:
Calmer Solutions Tea Tree 100% Pure Essential Aromatherapy Oil 10ml

Naissance Tea Tree Essential Oil (#109) 200ml (2 x 100ml) - Pure, Natural, Cruelty Free, Vegan & Undiluted £15.99

Phthalates are also found in antibacterial soaps, makeup, sunscreens, deodorants and antiperspirants with parabens (and aluminium).

We're also told vaseline and other petroleum jelly containing products) even though petroleum is carcinogenic), are apparently safe and healthy for our skin... Erm, better rethink that one:

Shea Butter - Healthy Skin Cream

Shea butter has significant levels of vitamins E and A, adding to its antioxidant properties.
Plus, unlike cocoa butter, shea butter is noncomedogenic, meaning it won't clog your pores, which is a cause of acne.
Why would you put carcinogenic petroleum on your skin when there are plenty of better alternatives, a few of which are listed here::

Hair Health and Regrowth

Here are some interesting articles on the above topic, with effective recipes to boot. I can say effective because a friend of mine has verified (he shared in my Telegram group) that some of these ingredients have helped his hair grow back:

https://www.wikihow.com/Apply-Castor-Oil-for-Hair:
"Castor oil has long been used as a remedy for hair loss and thinning hair. It has many other uses as well, including moisturizing dry hair, taming frizz, and managing tangles. It can also make your hair grow stronger and thicker.
...to make it more effective and easier to apply. Here is a list of what you will need: Castor oil, Other oil (argan, avocado, coconut, jojoba, sweet almond, etc.)"
Here's an article about Rosemary oil for hair regrowth:
https://www.healthline.com/health/rosemary-oil-for-hair
Like peppermint essential oil (also used to promote hair growth), rosemary essential oil strengthens circulation. As a result, it could prevent hair follicles from being starved of blood supply, dying off, and leading to hair loss.
Beyond stimulating hair growth, rosemary essential oil is used to prevent premature graying and dandruff. It may also help dry or itchy scalp.

How to use argan oil for better skin
Add moisture
Argan oil provides a major boost of hydration to the skin, thanks to its high quantities of vitamin E. "Vitamin E also helps strengthen the skin's barrier so it's able retain more hydration," says West Hollywood-based celebrity esthetician and founder of SkinLab, Joshua Ross. To help seal in hydration, he recommends applying a few drops of 100 percent pure argan oil to your daily moisturizer.
"Because of the phenols found in argan oil, which are very stimulating to the scalp, it can help to promote new hair growth,"
https://www.healthline.com/health/jojoba-oil-for-hair
Jojoba is rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, including vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin E, copper, and zinc.
Because it strengthens hair, it is also thought that jojoba oil can prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness. The idea behind this is that the oil moisturizes hair follicles, which prevents dryness that leads to hair loss.
The oil's reputation as a direct hair growth stimulant, is not supported by research. One recent studyTrusted Source that tested jojoba oil for hair growth found that it was less effective than minoxidil (Rogaine) and peppermint essential oil.
For this reason, jojoba oil should not be relied on as a therapy for pattern baldness...
Still, it can be a great product for promoting strong, silky, and shiny hair.
https://curetick.com/eucalyptus-benefits-and-side-effects/
Add few drops of eucalyptus oil to coconut oil and massage your hair properly then your hair will be perfectly moisturized. The follicles of hair are stimulated by blood vessels to constrict; In this way, your follicles get more flow of blood which makes your hair grow more healthy.

7) Copper:

Copper is needed to maintain mineral balance and is extremely important in the formation and/or activity of numerous enzymes involved in the formation of bone and collagen (connective tissue), elastin, the immune, glandular and cardiovascular systems, heart, brain, liver, blood vessels, blood clotting and much more, which is why the Ancient Egyptians revered gem stones made from copper so much and even had a turquoise mine in Mount Sinai (amongst other things) and copper was even used for farming tools (not for cutting granite as archaeologists tell us) as it had a beneficial effect on the soil and the  plants. Unfortunately, modern farming methods (and the less usage of crop rotation) and increased use of chemicals and pesticides have depleted the soil of mineral content.
This is also why a copper deficiency is reported to be responsible for virtually every disease:
Parkinson's, Alzheimer's,
MS, depression, diabetes, autism, ADD, ADHD, pancreatic and digestive problems, vision problems, haemophilia, bleeding disorders, anemia, low hormone production, cystic fibrosis, many birth defects, cancer, degenerative bone and muscle conditions, heart/cardiovascular disease, heart attack, stroke, allergies, respiratory illness, kidney disease, and much more, although copper can be toxic if you don't have at least ten to fifteen .times as much zinc in your blood, as zinc is also antagonistic to copper, iron, and manganese, so it is important to have a source of these in your diet too. Zinc and iron can be found in green vegetables, nuts and seeds, sea food is also a good source. Good sources of manganese are also nuts and seeds, tropical fruits and wholegrains too, although all whole grains are found to be full of lectins (some including the most famous lectin -  gluten) which are an immune suppressant, so I'd avoid eating grains at all if possible, or eat the refined (white) type if you must, but then also bear in mind that refined grains also take B vitamins out of your body during digestion (so you may want to add the nutritional yeast flakes, which  I shared earlier, to your white rice or any other white grains you have). If taking any zinc supplements, up to 50mg a day is considered safe.
Unfortunately copper supplements have all been prepared in an alkaline or other chemical which negates any copper you would consume in a supplement, the same alkaline effect comes from any GM food, so I would avoid them.
Ascorbic acid (which I mentioned earlier under vitamin C) is also known to inhibit the absorption of copper.
Also any sulfur in food, which has also been added, binds with copper and pulls it out of the body. Vaccines, blood thinners, and personal care products are also loaded with toxins that deplete copper from the body and target the liver where copper is stored. There are also alkalising chemicals, copper binders and copper antagonists found in our food, whether from chemical waste in the water that the animals and plants feed on, or in the pesticides or food additives.
So unfortunately, adequate copper can't even be obtained from our foods anymore, which is why there are so many people suffering from numerous diseases as copper is so important and is needed to maintain proper health! Therefore I advise the following:
1st - avoid all chemical soaps, shampoos, toothpastes, deodorants, hair sprays, after shaves, perfumes (at least spray these on clothes rather than skin) skin creams (use pure coco butter and/or coconut cream);
And 2nd - get yourself a copper water jug, fill it up every day with water, so that it absorbs some of the copper, also chlorine in the water would evaporate after 24 hours by leaving it in the open this way.

Aspartame and Artificial Foods

Why It's Important to Avoid Aspartame and Any Artificial Additives, Whether Sweeteners or Not
Aspartame is particularly important to avoid, not only according to some research, but also due to experience. An old work colleague of my mum's for example, said her husband was suffering from MS. She asked her if he was drinking any diet colas or other fizzy diet drinks. Apparently he was drinking a lot, every day. When he finally stopped drinking these drinks which are full of the artificial sweetener aspartame, his MS symptoms also gradually stopped. I can't tell you how long it took to reverse his condition, because it was a long time ago. It is also said to cause lupus and fibromyalgia.
I can tell you that a long time ago I also read a very good herb book which outlined an important principle that I have lived by ever since. Namely that everything in nature is chemically balanced, and that science creates new chemical products by extracting 'active' elements from plants to create the new chemical product. But it discards the 'inactive' elements from those plants, because science in its arrogance teaches that these parts of the plant are useless. Well the herb book said different, it says that these 'inactive' parts are what keep the chemicals balanced and stable, so to separate them is just causing a chemically imbalanced and unstable compound. This is how they make pharmaceutical drugs and why they create side effects when taken, in effect creating more and new diseases. So now you know the reason why I don't use pharmaceutical drugs. Actually there's another reason, which is because they not only just treat the symptoms of disease, but also because there is no need to take these drugs if we tackle the root cause of the disease. Hippocrates, the so called father of Western Medicine is attributed with the saying "let food be thy medicine", so it makes me wonder why doctors only study basic nutrition. Anyway, once we understand that, then we can understand why avoiding chemical additives in food as well as making sure we are getting the right amount of the right sorts of foods is paramount to health. This should be the first point of call for health, drugs on the other hand should be the last resort, if we are to follow this logic.

Trans Fats and Health

Hydrogenated fats/oils, or what are termed trans fats, are another example of unnatural food additives to avoid. These fats are found in lots of foods, including takeaway food and ready made meals. Trans fats actually clog up your arteries and eventually lead to heart attacks or heart disease and can also cause diabetes too. So it's best to either avoid these altogether or to always read the food labels before buying anything. This is a habit I picked up many years ago and I never buy anything with any additives whatsoever. It's against my principles to eat anything unnatural since I am a Daoist, which basically means I put nature over the artificial. I'm not against science, I just believe science should be in harmony with nature, just as ancient cultures practised. In fact they had their own practice called sacred science which did exactly that. It is the science of nature.

8) EMF Radiation.

According to statistics collected in Sweden, between 1985 and 1995,  you can see an improvement in health of the population in that country.

The statistics show decreases in the following:
How many people registered sick.
How many traffic accidents and injuries there were.
How many people registered sick long-term, have used the Swedish health insurance...
How many general injuries, suicides, prostate cancers and so on, all these were dropping until 1997.
This is significant because 1997 was the year that cell/mobile phones were introduced to Sweden, the reason data from Sweden is used is because they were about 3 years ahead of most of us in the west in updating to this technology.
One of the major things that increased very rapidly is prostate cancer.
The problem is not limited to microwaves from mobile/cell phones, but also from electrical wiring, electrical appliances, smart  meters , power lines etc, since any kind of electricity also generates a magnetic field and not only that but fields can also be reflected by or from other buildings and walls and can even be concentrated into even more harmful beams by frames such as doors and windows.
ELF pulses can be particularly very harmful since they are extremely biological.
In other words, those are the frequencies of our brain waves, heart, eyes, and all kinds of things including the central nervous system, so obviously this can also affect our immune system.
And it's not getting better either, in fact with the introduction of 5G, it's getting worse.
The reason is that 5G is attempting to bridge the gap between separate technologies by encompassing the whole broad range of frequencies into one.
Now I'm not sure many people know this about smart meters, but the reason they are called that is because they can work out exactly what electrical equipment or appliances you are using in your home.
They do this by "listening" to them, as each device has its own wave frequency signature, Smart meters can even tell how much electricity each item used, by "communicating" with them, shown on an itemised bill .
5G is like having a smart meter for the whole world, because it allows tracking of all data, so we could call it big brother on steroids, or as I like to put it. "George Orwell ain't seen nuttin'!" His book and film '1984' could seem like paradise once this is implemented world wide! I'm not even gonna talk about Elon Musk's WiFi in the sky program, or Skynet or whatever you want to call it.

In fact everything, how many people became sick, even traffic accidents, injured people and so on increased, whereas In the countryside in Sweden they didn't have that increase.

In the cities are where you had more mobile/cell phones, mobile/Cell phone towers and so on.

9) Protection From EMF Radiation.

My first recommendation is to turn WiFi off at night for a start, and also when you're not using it... For anybody that still doesn't believe that frequencies can cause you harm, ask any soldier why they are told to 'break step'  which means change the rhythm of their steps when walking across a bridge. It's because when troops March in unison, the resulting frequency created can cause the bridge to weaken or collapse. And it's nothing to do with weight, because trucks obviously weigh much more than a few marching soldiers. It also explains how sounds can Heal, or in the case of the devil's interval, which is a group of certain musical notes, can cause illness and supposedly, if sustained for long enough, even death.

Secondly, I'd stay away from charging phones as much as possible, EMFs are all around us though, which you can see if you have your own meter, or even apps like Electrosmart:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.inria.es.electrosmart

and there are ways to help protect yourself, some more expensive than others. For instance, you can buy EMF blocking paint for the bedroom where you sleep, you can get a mains switch put in by the bed to turn off at night if you want to go that far too... Also quartz is a good cheap shield which I have put around my PC to dampen the effect. Other very good stones to use are

black tourmaline, shungite and hematite and can even be worn as jewellery too.

Salt lamps are also good as they release negative ions (the good ones) into the air, which is naturally present in the high altitudes of places like the Himalayas, ancient sites and monuments like Stone Henge or the Great Pyramid. This, amongst other things, would help to explain why Tibetan monks live so long, and my nan, because she doesn't have WiFi either, lol, God bless her.
But the important thing about negative ions, relative to today, is that they just happen to kill viruses:

These Salt lamps are such a low price I'm amazed! I remember when they first came out, around 20 years ago, it was hard to find any below £50!
